How we approach security.

A straightforward look at how we handle data protection, access, and secure development practice across client work.

How we protect data

We take reasonable, industry-standard precautions to protect the confidentiality and integrity of client data and project materials, whether that data belongs to us, to our clients, or to our clients' own customers.

Infrastructure and access

Access to client systems, credentials, and project environments is limited to team members who genuinely need it for the work at hand, and is revoked promptly once that need ends. Where clients provide access to their own infrastructure, we follow their existing security policies and access controls rather than introducing our own workarounds.

Secure development practices

Our development process includes attention to common security considerations — secure authentication, data validation, dependency management — appropriate to the sensitivity and scale of each specific project. Security-critical projects, such as those handling payment data or regulated information, receive additional review proportional to the genuine stakes involved.

Data handling and confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential by default. Where a project involves genuinely sensitive data, we're happy to formalize this through a mutual non-disclosure agreement or data processing agreement, and to accommodate reasonable client-specific security requirements.

Reporting a security concern

If you believe you've identified a security vulnerability related to our website or systems, we genuinely want to hear about it. Please reach out to hello@digitallyscaled.com with details, and we'll respond promptly.
